The LYMPH-Trial
A joint project with
and for patients.
What is the best treatment for chronic lymphedema after breast cancer therapy?
We are collaborating with patients from different countries to find the solution.
Lymphedema after breast cancer – what to do?
We treat patients who develop chronic lymphedema after breast cancer treatment on an almost daily basis. We know that lymphedema can be a heavy burden for those affected. With this website, we would like to inform you about the clinical picture and show you the current treatment options.
We ourselves are working on improving the treatment of chronic breast cancer-related lymphedema with the help of microsurgery. This is how the “The LYMPH -Trial” came about.
“Those around you clearly see your condition and are wondering. At some point, you no longer feel like explaining yourself.”
– Karin Brutschin, patient and trial participant
